Cormac was called to the Bar in May 2026.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Cormac was a Legal Associate to a Justice of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1) from 2022 to 2024, working on both first instance and appellate cases. Cormac was admitted as a solicitor in 2025 and practised as a solicitor in family law until May 2026, working predominantly on complex property disputes in the major complex financial proceedings list.
Cormac has a dual Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Science (majoring in Psychology) from the University of Queensland.
Cormac accepts briefs to appear and give advice in relation to a variety of matters, with a particular focus on family law and child support proceedings. Cormac accepts Legal Aid briefs and ICL work.
